World Press Photo 2017

Every year since 1958 an international jury has convened in the Netherlands under the auspices of the World Press Photo Foundation to choose the finest press photographs published around the world during the previous year. Universally recognized as the definitive competition for photographic reportage, it has been described by former art director of the Sunday Times Michael Rand as “the international photographic contest.”
